One primary joy at BlackRock is the extensive selection of craft brews on tap. With 30 unique options, it represents various local breweries. The atmosphere brims with a casual yet trendy vibe, making it comfortable for solo diners and groups alike. Regular events, like trivia nights and live music, keep the energy high and users engaged.
The food delights patrons as well, especially the BBQ wings that feature a perfect amount of spice. Small plates like tacos and sliders come highly recommended, catering to those looking for something to share. Many reviews highlight the attentive bartenders who are eager to assist with wine choices, even for those who aren't big fans. Overall, BlackRock's blend of brews, bites, and vibe creates loyal customers.
Most Disliked
Despite the numerous positive aspects, some patrons mention limited outdoor seating available, which can be a challenge during busier days. Additionally, the inside can fill up quickly, particularly during peak times like Thursday trivia nights, leading to longer wait times for seating. Some visitors desire a wider food menu, wishing for more variety beyond the already tasty small plates offered.
Noise levels can rise during popular events, making it difficult to hold a conversation, especially during busy evenings with live music. A few diners also noted that while the staff is friendly, service may slow during peak hours. These feedback points are essential for potential visitors to consider when planning their outing.

Superb BBQ wings, with just a little bite. Decent selection of craft brews. They have board games, and we played Battleship! Very nice folks. Still have games, still nice folks. Tacos are delicious!

We absolutely LOVE Blackrock! Chuck made us feel right at home and was so helpful! I'm not a huge fan of wine, but he shares so much information and it's so fun to learn about the different wines! He's also always open to helping me find something I like! We will continue to go back again and again!

A great place to grab a beer or a glass of wine. And trivia is fantastically hosted and the teams are great sports!

DJ trivia on Tuesday and Thursday is great fun! Wine tastings on Wednesday, frequent live music and mimosa's on Sunday. Great place to enjoy, they have a small line up top. Large amount of beers on tap, great selection of wine at a very fair price. The food is always great from flat bread pizza, dry rub chicken wings, and meatball sliders.

Great little bar with jazz and wine tastings on Wednesdays. Had a great night. Solid selection of 30 or so craft beers on tap as well.

Stopped in on our way through town. Chuck, the owner, was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the beers/wines available and about the surrounding area. Sensible guy. Fair pricing. Some local regulars came in while we were there, and they too were friendly and helpful. Really nice, chill spot to have a drink and chat. Quiet and mellow but apparently they've got live music and some other livelier things going on on other days of the week. Met some nice dogs too.
